M/s Nippon System Creative Pvt Ltd, a software development company based in Japan  are into development of customized software solutions for their clients, in addition to vending a number of many proprietary software products.

The Challenge

M/s Nippon opted for  a software development partner in India in view of the of the skilled and high-quality man power resources available in the country. In addition, the partner in India was required to translate the software specifications provided to them to fully functional software packages, which can in turn be shipped to their clients without any further work on it.

Solution

Accordingly, the specifications for a software package to be developed were handed over to LS. The software package, School Management System (SMS), to be developed was a product software package to be used in the schools. The real challenge was in providing easy-to-use and flexible interfaces and features in all the functions in the software.

  • Student Database
  • Fee Generation and Fee Receipts
  • Bus Route and student pick-up information
  • MIS
Success

Though there were initial hiccups due to the language barrier, since the software had to be in Japanese, things were ironed out immediately and a software package was developed and delivered to their satisfaction.

M/s Nippon is currently working on requirement specifications to offload more activities to LS Software.
